Mohamed Osman Elawad Speaker BIO

Mohamed Osman “MoSman” is the founder of Sudan Blockchain Community and the 1st Sudanese to be certified in Blockchain Solution Architecture from Blockchain Training Alliance (BTA-CBSA), having a main objective to form the official Blockchain Association of Sudan.

Backed with 15+ years of professional ICT multinational expertise across Middle East & Africa with extensive experience into Technical Business Consulting and Digital Transformation, he has been successful at expanding his network of connections within government, private sector, regional ISPs and Telecom providers in addition to several African Tech-Hubs and Innovation Labs.

His great passion for Digital Technology has motivated him to develop an advanced technical and business knowledge of Blockchain platforms (e.g. Hyperledger, Ethereum, Corda, etc.) with a focus on Enterprise Blockchain, furthermore a solid understanding of Industry 4.0 and related technologies and implications (Cloud; IoT; AI; Big Data).

MoSman is an active member of Sudan Innovation and Entrepreneurship Network (SIEN, part of i4Policy Community – Africa) which is a network of innovators, mentors, startups and entrepreneurs with a common goal to collectively reform and develop the entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem in Sudan and Africa in general through effective and valuable collaboration.

In addition to that, he is a member of Patientory Association as Ambassador to Africa. The Patientory Association, based in San Francisco, is a global nonprofit healthcare member organization facilitates the adoption of emerging technologies in the healthcare industry.
